We offer five options in hoops:

Standard Steel hoop 1,6mm

Manufactured from a 1.6mm plate of pressed steel, this is the standard hoop that comes with all drums.

Steel Power hoop 2,3mm

Manufactured from a 2.3mm plate of pressed steel, the Power hoop provides more precise tuning and bigger rim shots.

Wooden hoop

Manufactured from a solid block of wood, turned and pressed one by one, this hoop has a pure, natural sound, with a lot of low-mids, and no metallic overtones. Extreme rim shots on the snare, with great volume and different pitches depending on where you hit—stick-on-rim sound with a more “percussive” effect.

Die Cast

Cast in a zinc alloy, these hoops look as good as they sound. The extra thickness affords very precise tuning (superior to the power hoop) and explosive rim shots, with great volume and attack. They also reduce harmonic overtones, for a more controlled sound.

Hard Hoop Aluminium

Manufactured from a solid block of laminated, naval-grade aluminum. Extremely resilient, enabling easy and precise tuning (superior to die-cast) with more volume and attack while controlling overtones and harmonics. Killer rim shot sound on snare, with extremely high volume and attack. Superb stick-on-rim sound, with great volume and projection. This hoop is 11mm thick on the bottom and 3,5mm thick on the top.
