Nylon Washers

All tuning screws feature 3 mm thick nylon washers. With their high average density, they allow for smooth drum tuning. They also stabilize the tuning of the drum by operating, to a certain degree, as a lock washer. Finally, by avoiding metal-on-metal contact, they protect the finish and extend the life of the hoop.
