Custom Snares
Our snare drums are unique; they provide exceptional pitch and perfect balance between weight, volume and projection. Available in 10″, 12″, 13″ and 14″ sizes, they may be custom ordered in any depth. Drum thickness will vary according to depth.
Deeper drums require thicker shells – up to 18-ply and approximately 16mm thick – yielding a drier sound with higher timbre and significant compression – the end result being a high-pitched sound with ample attack and body. As the depth of the shell decreases, we use fewer plies which creates a drum with lower pitch and volume.
Snare drums can be ordered with our floating suspension system, eliminating the need for a stand.
