Custom-Shop 14 x 6.5 Hybrid – Acrylic & Aluminium
This unique hybrid 14″ x 6.5″ snare has a core shell in solid aluminum, flanked by acrylic. Its sound is very interesting, as the Aluminum gives it a lot of body and attack, and the Acrylic—a synthetic material—inhibits vibration and spreads the sound waves intensely through the inside of the shell. This provides a different sound, very evident in mid frequencies. Unfortunately, Acrylic is not available at this time, but we just had to show you this exclusive instrument.
We used Vintage lugs; 2.3mmm power hoops, and an attractive Old Silver finish.
